PROJECTOR

Hailing from Brighton, PROJECTOR began as a four before quickly trimming the line up. The band consider the catalyst for activity really began when they solidified into the trio of Edward Ensbury on guitar/vocals, Lucy Sheehan on bass/vocals and  Demelza Mather on drums. Demelza parted company with the band in late 2019 and would go on to join The Wytches subsequently. She was replaced by Callum Marinho.

'Projector occupy the heavy space between brooding 1980s darkwave and My Bloody Valentine's wall-of-sound pop; a combination tone of Goo era Sonic Youth and Pixies pulled together with an industrial Joy Division pulse'.

They released a number of singles and two EPs whilst signed to Roadkill Records. Their debut album was released via Venn Records in 2024. In 2025 they announced they are 'teaming up with Alcopop Records'.

Lucy has her own electronic side project called O Hell as well as having contributed to the local collective known as The AA Sessions. She has also provided backing vocals for Sick Joy (Senses) and Animal House (Modern Romance).
